"Charlie"
Charlie was an interactive seagull on the Ventura Pier at Ventura Beach, California. He offered many poses probably in the hopes that one of us would pull a cookie out of our pocket. This was a painting of disappointed Charlie, because we had no food on us. He got his name from a long-time friend of mine who lived in both Hawaii and Massachusetts, and whose dad named all the seagulls "Charlie".
